Medical Receptionist
– full time
Founded in 2016, Middle Island Medical Clinic is a practitioner-owned accredited General Practice, growing rapidly over the past 9 years to service 15,000+ patients in the Southwest Region, providing high quality primary care with a focus on compassionate customer service, outstanding medical care, true teamwork and intentional design. We currently have a team of 12 doctors, 3 nurses, 10 allied health providers and a growing administration team.
What you will be doing
You'll be making a real difference to the way our patients access and engage with their health care, and setting your clinicians up for a successful day of consulting. You are a fundamentally important and valued part of the team, crucial to the smooth running of the clinic. You set the tone for our patient's consultation experience, help them access appointments, information and onward care.

Essentially you need
Experience in medical or allied health reception, ideally General Practice reception
A working knowledge of the Medicare Benefits Schedule
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
And things would be just seamless if you
Had previous experience with Best Practice software and/or Hotdoc software

Health coaches
Ground floor rooms are wheelchair accessible and disability-compliant, and first floor rooms are accessed via both lift and stairs.
Sessional lease can be negotiated either with, or without reception support.
